It had a lovely location near other visitor attractions, and Birdoswald Fort.
Could not be improved in any way.

It was spotless, top-class and with bunk beds. The hotel's location was excellent, just next door to large portions of wholesome good food at reasonable prices, the train station and a beautiful area. I ate in the authentic restaurant nearby.

My stay was truly delightful! The PORTIONS at dinner were massive, and the atmosphere felt so cozy with friendly locals. Only downside? The pillows were too soft for my taste. 😴

The location was perfect for our visit to Hadrian's Wall and the surrounding countryside. The owners were really nice too help us, and the food was great. Great beers too! I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to explore the area.
The only downside for us was the pillows in our room. They were a bit too soft, a little tough to get a good night's sleep.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the huge portions at dinner and breakfast! The garden area was perfect for relaxing with a cozy spot to sip tea and some great seating to unwind. The only thing was the decor felt a bit dated, but it didn't take away from our overall experience. 😊

My stay at the Belted Will Inn exceeded my expectations. The warm hospitality, superb homemade meals, and meticulous cleanliness created a good experience. The only downside was the pillows, which were a bit too firm for my liking.

missingWrote a review on 16 Juldated decor
Some rooms feel a bit dated and could use a refresh in decor. The noise from the kitchen can be a bit distracting, particularly if you're in a room above it, which might spoil the peaceful atmosphere. I also found the pillows were on the firm side, and dinner service can drag a bit during peak hours.

Great atmosphere and cute staff. The food really stood out. Breakfast was hearty and made with quality local ingredients. Dinners also impressed with generous portions. The decor felt a bit dated, but the cleanliness made up for it. Room was comfortable, although the double bed was excessively firm for my liking. The location is peaceful, but quite remote. It lacks nearby shops or amenities. Accessibility could be an issue for elderly guests due to the shower setup. I enjoyed my stay but improvements in room decor and shower accessibility would make it even better.

Really good hospitality and great food!
The meals were a standout, with delicious, generously-sized portions that were freshly prepared. The tranquil village setting is perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Hadrian's Wall. One small improvement could be to offer more pillow options for different preferences.
